Each week, we recognize a staff member who exemplifies dedication and excellence. This week’s Thunderbird Hero was nominated for always going above and beyond to support her coworkers, students, and families. She sets a shining example of what it means to be an educator.
Every morning, she greets students with a smile as they walk into the building, and she is an encouraging mentor to those who look up to her. We are proud to announce that this week’s Thunderbird Hero is Ms. Angelia Braswell!

Each week, we'll be celebrating one of our amazing staff members as the "Thunderbird Hero of the Week!" This week’s hero has been nominated for her tireless work supporting every staff member in the school. Not only does she serve as the 3rd-5th Multi-Classroom Leader (MCL), but she also goes above and beyond to help anyone in need, all while bringing a smile to everyone she encounters. Her joy and dedication are truly contagious!

📚🏈 Last Friday, we had special guests from the North Carolina Wesleyan University football team visit our 2nd graders! The players shared their love for reading by reading stories to our students and gifting each of them their very own copy of the book!

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Nash County Public Schools will be closed Friday, Sept. 27. This includes all schools and the central office. Additionally, all athletic activities and events scheduled for Friday have been canceled.
