Nash County Public Schools (NCPS) has lifted the soft lockdown for all of Nash County Public Schools. Local law enforcement and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) deemed the social media account to be fake but will continue to follow up on leads as they come in. NCPS will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, Friday, February 2, 2024.

NCPS takes the safety of its students, staff, and community seriously. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone at NCPS.
