Scholars learn writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading skills to support them on the path to college and career success through the AVID Program At Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School. Teachers at ECHS attend AVID profession development training to provide scaffolded support for scholars.  Every scholar's schedule includes AVID so they can receive individual and additional academic, social, and emotional support which will help them succeed in honor level high school courses as well as the college classes they will be enrolled in at Nash Community College. 

Scholars visit college campuses and hear from guest speakers like admissions officers and alumni while preparing to attend a four year college or university upon graduation from ECHS! We are proud to be an AVID Certified School since 2005.
