ECHS is an application-based school. The application window opens in December and closes at the end of February for the school year 2025-2026. Applications are limited to Nash County residents who are rising 9th and 10th graders. Applications are scored using a district rubric. Per NC General Statute 115C.238.55, enrollment at each grade level is limited to 100 scholars. Applications will go to a third-party lottery system if the qualified applicant pool exceeds 100 scholars. Once the lottery system is complete scholars will be notified via email that they are eligible to attend ECHS contingent upon their individual interview. Applications to enroll at the Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School (NRM-ECHS) for the 2024-2025 school year have closed. Thank you for your interest. Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will open on December 2, 2024. The application and notification timeline can be found below.
