ECHS is an application-based school. The application window opens in January and closes at the end of March each calendar year. Applications are limited to Nash County residents who are rising 9th and 10th graders. Applications are scored using a district rubric. Per NC General Statute 115C.238.55, enrollment at each grade level is limited to 100 scholars. Applications will go to a third-party lottery system if the qualified applicant pool exceeds 100 scholars.

Applications to enroll at the Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School (NRM-ECHS) for the 2024-2025 school year have closed. Thank you for your interest. We will update the 2025-2026 school year application information in December 2025.
