Good evening, Eagle Families!
This is Principal McGeachy. The semester is quickly coming to an end, and Winter Break is around the corner. Updates for this week are as follows:
- Spirit Week will be observed Monday through Thursday, and each day will feature a unique theme. Details can be found on our web page.
- Our scholars will begin testing on Friday, December 15th. Please be reminded that Friday will be a full day for our scholars, and dismissal will occur at 4:30 p.m.
- Related to testing, we remind families that once we begin testing on Friday, we are going to maintain a quiet testing environment so that scholars can do their absolute best. With that in mind, early checkouts will not be allowed prior to 2:30 pm beginning on December 15th unless there is an emergency. Since we have full staff involvement in testing, we will have limited coverage in the front office, and we don’t want to create unnecessary disruption in the hallways. Additionally, test reviews are conducted each afternoon for the next day’s tested area. Scholars will miss out on those reviews if they depart before the end of the instructional day.
As always, I encourage you to visit our web page to remain informed of upcoming events. Enjoy your evening!
