Good evening, Eagle Families!
This is Principal McGeachy with your updates as we head into the first full week of the Spring 2024 semester:
- Before I begin with the updates, I want to share that our scholars got off to a good start last week, and I was pleased to see their enthusiasm in all classrooms.
- As I shared last week, report cards will be available in PowerSchool on Tuesday. Thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter.
- Since we are in the beginning days of the semester, our teachers are reviewing their classroom procedures, course syllabi and reminding scholars about the importance of class attendance and not being tardy to classes. Please assist us by reinforcing their efforts with your scholars at home. Also, please be reminded of the end-of-year testing schedule for this semester which runs from May 13 - May 17.
- Regarding Model Release forms, our web page now provides instructions on how to complete the authorization document. Again, the form must be submitted for all scholars who wish to have their image used. Our AVID teachers will also provide assistance to those families who need assistance with this.
- Finally, Friday, January 12th, will be an Release Day, and school will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. Early Release Fridays will continue for the remainder of the semester in accordance with the district’s published calendar.
As always, thanks for your support, and I encourage you to visit our web page for updated information pertaining to our school.
