Good evening, Eagle Families!
This is Principal McGeachy with your ECHS weekly message.
· I want to thank everyone who came out to support our Spirit Night at Zaxby’s last Tuesday night. We appreciated seeing everyone, and we will announce how much money was raised for the senior trip as soon as we receive the check. I also thank our scholars and their family members who attended and supported the Hispanic Heritage Month event hosted by Nash Community College yesterday.
· Scholars enrolled in ENG II will take their first NC Check-in assessment on Monday, September 23rd. This assessment assists in preparing scholars for the EOC at the end of the semester. Teachers in other EOC courses will announce their NC Check-in dates in the coming weeks.
· Scholars should remember to complete the breakfast and lunch request form in advance if they want to eat meals from the cafeteria. Completing the forms in advance ensures that enough meals will be on hand for serving.
· As of this recording, all buses are scheduled to run their routes in the morning. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to download the "Where's the Bus" app from the NCPS website to assist in tracking your scholar's bus.
· Lastly, please visit our school website for updated information related to our school.

Good evening, Eagle Families!
This is Principal McGeachy with your ECHS weekly message. We have reached the halfway point in September!
· On Sept. 17th, the Class of 2025 will hold a fundraiser at Zaxby’s in Nashville. To support this event, you can make a purchase between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m., and a percentage of all sales generated during that time will go towards funding an end-of-year trip for our graduating scholars.
· Just a gentle reminder that scholars should remember to complete the breakfast and lunch request form in advance if they want meals from the cafeteria. Completing the form in advance ensures that enough meals will be on hand for serving.
· As of this recording, all buses have drivers scheduled to run their routes in the morning.
· Lastly, please visit our school website for updated information related to our school.
Thank you, and have a wonderful evening!
