Students DO NOT stuff inappropriate items in the toilets because you will face the possibility of being suspended. 9. Students, please remember to wear your lanyards. It has to be the school-issued lanyards. Wear them around your neck, it must be visible. Failure to do so will result in your teachers writing you up using the educator" handbook. 10. Students if you can not get into Rapid Identity please inform your teachers this morning so that help can be provided. 11. 12-grade students only: teachers will provide an immunization letter for students to fill out and return to school if you have any questions contact information is provided at the end of the immunization form. 12. Permission to leave campus forms are available in the front office with Mrs. Copeland during school hours. The last day to turn in these forms is August 30 BEFORE 11 am.

ECHS Families of 12th graders: Your scholar will receive a letter from our school nurse concerning required immunizations. Letters will be handed out in AVID classes this week. Good evening, Eagle Families! This is Principal McGeachy with your ECHS weekly message. I want to thank you all for a successful first week of school! This past Friday, we were able to close out the week by celebrating scholars who are new to our school and those scholars who will graduate in May 2025! · I ask for your support in our efforts to provide a safe learning environment for our scholars. We have issued blue ID lanyards to all scholars, and they are required to be worn at all times while on campus. Teachers will begin monitoring for compliance this week. · Soon, our school will conduct emergency procedure drills as part of our beginning of the school year activities. We will involve local law enforcement in those drills to assess our preparedness. · Thank you for your continued patience and understanding regarding bus transportation and traffic congestion. We continue to work closely with transportation to resolve bus issues, and NCC is working on a plan to help alleviate the on-campus congestion. · Lastly, please visit our school website for updated information related to our school. Good evening, Eagle Families! This is Principal McGeachy with the first weekly message for the 2024-25 school year! First and foremost, I hope everyone remained safe during Tropical Storm "Debby." My staff and I are excited to welcome our scholars back to school tomorrow, and we hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. I have just a few reminders regarding the first days of school this week: • Our operating hours have changed, and our instructional day begins at 9:15 a.m. each day. Dismissal will be at 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12:45 p.m. on Fridays. • CITI High School is on campus this year, and their scholars will share our drop-off and pick-up locations. Since the front entrance to NCC remains closed, traffic will be a little more congested, so please exercise caution and patience when dropping off and picking up. Campus Security will assist us in managing traffic flow this week. • On Thursday, August 15th, NCPS will host a Back-to-School Fair in the Brown Auditorium from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m., and we will have an information table at this event. • Lastly, please visit our school website for instructions on accessing class schedules in Infinite Campus and other pertinent information related to our school. Eagles: You will find information below to help you prepare for the first day of school. Take note of the ECHS School Supply List for the 2024-2025 School Year and information about picking up your class schedule for the fall semester. Our 9th-graders and newly enrolled 10th-graders will pick up schedules during Summer Bridge on August 7th. All other scholars will be able to pick up schedules from our Main Office on August 8th between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please watch for updates on the Live Feed Section of our website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.

Eagle Families! Due to the transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus, class schedules will be printed this year and available for pick-up. 9th-graders and newly enrolled 10th-graders will pick up schedules during Summer Bridge on August 7th. All other scholars will be able to pick up schedules from our Main Office on August 8th between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please get in touch with our office if you have questions or concerns regarding class schedules. Bus requests should be submitted by August 4th for any scholar who wishes to ride the bus this year. This also applies to scholars who rode the bus last year. The bus requests link is found on our school website and is available in both English and Spanish.
